Greetings!

  #

Hello All,

It's been a while since I've sent a Helping Houses Newsletter, so it's time to get back on the horse! Eric and I are in the thick of the home building process, but as soon as the proverbial dust settles, I'd like to start thinking more about getting this thing going.

In the mean time, please send me your feedback and let me know if you'd like to contribute content to the Helping Houses website.

Blind, Malnourished Horses Abandoned

  #

Barbara Baker and her staff at Horses' Haven in Howell have rescued 2 horses that were abandoned in northern Michigan.

Blue and Sunday suffer from different forms of neglect, one has a swollen belly from worms and the other is so malnutritioned that his ribs are showing. Both horses are blind...

The horses will remain at Horses' Haven permanently, but those interested can sponsor a horse for as little as $10 a month.  There are many other ways to help, including volunteering at the farm!

Editor's note: check out the Horses' Haven website...it is very well done! Five paws!
